3rd Refugee Settlement Workshops
Presbyterian Support South Canterbury in partnership with Red Cross New Zealand are presenting two workshops in Timaru about New Zealand refugee settlement:
- Introduction to the refugee journey, 10am – 12pm
- Working cross culturally in refugee settlement, 1pm – 3pm
These workshops are open to all members of the Timaru community and any services/agencies that work with (or will in the future) former refugees.

20th International Food Festival
Celebrating our rich cultural diversity for Race Relations Day
Join us down at the Timaru Artisan Farmers Market from 9.00-1.00pm to sample some delicious International food. There will also be crafts and performances from some of our local cultural groups. We have over 20 different stalls and performances so it’s going to be a fantastic day.
